A series of nine 25 minute television programmes on short oval racing shot at various UK venues. The majority of formulae are covered from Formula One Stock Cars to Reliant Robins.

The first transmission of the series was on Granada's Men and Motors, which started on April 25. The series is currently being transmitted on Friday at 21.30, on Saturday at 16.30 and 19.00 and on Sundays at 13.00.

In addition to the normal Banger and Stock Car classes we feature a car and caravan jump, American Banger Racing which includes a stretch limo entry and a 3 ton hearse, Van Racing and Vans towing Caravans - a mixture of serious competitive motor sports with a good helping of crashes and spills.
